The Philadelphia Inquirer wrote a great piece about Jody Pinto’s sculpture honoring immigrants a focal point of new park on Washington Avenue Pier. The park, and the climbable sculpture, offer new way to see and enjoy the tidal Delaware River.

Mayor Nutter, who cut the ribbon to open the park, said the Washington Avenue Pier was a “beautiful addition to the city’s cultural heritage and an important step in providing high-quality public access” to the Delaware River waterfront.

Thank you to everyone who made this park a reality!
